Tools Talk Webinar Available Online

If you missed our two complimentary Tools Talk webinars held in September, they are now available for viewing online by clicking here. Each webinar featured community corrections professionals discussing successful strategies they implemented to support their staff’s effective use of cognitive tools.

The purpose of the Tools Talk series is to describe the characteristics of effective cognitive behavioral intervention (CBI) implementation strategies in agencies serving criminal and juvenile justice populations; highlight agencies that have been successful in implementing CBI; discuss strategies to help support staff in the effective use of these tools; and share ideas for ensuring quality assurance.

Tools Talk One featured panelists from adult community corrections agencies in New York City, North Carolina, Grant County, Indiana, and Franklin County, Ohio.

Tools Talk Two featured panelists from youth community corrections agencies in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, and Salt Lake County, Utah.

Our final Tools Talk is scheduled October 23 from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm ET. Tools Talk Three will focus on agencies using cognitive tools with adults and youth in residential or day reporting settings. Panelists are from programs in California, Utah, and Indiana. Join your colleagues and register for this complimentary webinar by clicking here.
